“I joined Toastmasters in May 2004 with the hopes of learning to be the “best” host and to learn to tackle the many administrative skills needed to prepare for an upcoming Family Reunion that was being held in the Washington, D.C. area.  The communication and leadership skills that I received helped me immensely then and now.  Since joining Toastmasters I have served in several officer positions at the club level; I was President, Vice President Public Relations, Vice President of Membership, Sergeant-at-Arms and Secretary (very comfortable in the SAA position).  I have achieved the Advance Communication Bronze and Advanced Leader Bronze educational certificates.”
